Orlando, Florida - Disney's Hollywood Studios & Animal Kingdom.

This will be my last Florida post as it's far too depressing to talk about it anymore - to read my other posts click > here! :)

Disney's Hollywood Studios is a firm favourite thanks to it being the home of my favourite ride, the Hollywood Tower of Terror! It fills me with fear but I ride it, and love it, every time.

This year it was the nemesis for Jonathan who has a slightly more apprehensive approach to rides, especially when they're in the dark / inside and he can't see what's going to happen. We had a Fast Pass for this which was great as the line was around 40 minutes long, so luckily he didn't have long to ponder his doom for too long. Turns out he loved it and it's now his favourite too!

Hollywood Studios is home to other delights such as the Aerosmith Rock n Roller Coaster, Star Tours (a Star Wars simulator which has been updated since our last visit and is now a hundred times better - so fun!), the Backlot Tour and some great shows such as "Lights, Motor, Action!", Beauty & the Beast, and an Indiana Jones stunt show.

We also took a ride on The Great Movie Ride with the most lackluster driver ever who provided us with a few chuckles for the rest of that day. It's still worth a go though, especially as there are two versions to experience!

Sadly, just like our last trip in 2009, we couldn't get on Toy Story Midway Mania as we've never managed to see the queue less than 60 minutes and all of the Fast Passes went like hot cakes. Even though we got to the park early and headed there first it seems everyone else had the same idea. Next time we visit I am determined to ride it (and that "next time" might not be too far away as I think we may be planning a trip back!)

We also spent a full day at Animal Kingdom which is home to Expedition Everest - a forwards/backwards adventure to hunt for a yeti! Definitely a favourite for all six of us.

Other attractions we visited were Dinosaur, the Kali River Rapids where there is absolutely no seat that doesn't get soaked, the 3D "It's a Bug's Life" show and the safari jeep tour which takes you round the grounds of Animal Kingdom and gets you up close and personal with the beautiful animals.

I hope you have enjoyed having a sneak peek at some of my holiday photos! We also visited the two Disney water parks but I didn't take a camera so I only have one or two shots from there, but I'll probably include them in a future post if you'd like a nosy.

I wish I could go every year! If you've got any plans to go for the first time and you've got any questions don't hesitate to ask below.

I'm blogging all the way from the Isle of Man tonight, as I've been here since Thursday morning and don't head home until tomorrow night. I've been visiting my sister (who lives over here) to keep her company while her husband is away on a golfing trip.

Aside from drinking a million cups of tea and watching episodes of Say Yes to the Dress, we have also been quite productive and have filled our time with fabric shopping, getting crafty with said fabric and a sewing machine, going on long hikes with her dogs, going to the gym, and a shopping trip. We even managed to fit in afternoon tea on Friday, a cheeky Dominos takeaway last night and shed loads of films!

She has been looking after me well, making us homemade soup, pancakes, courgette spaghetti bolognaise, and even whipped up some cinnamon whirl banana bread. Yum!

The views on our walks have been stunning so I took my camera along on a couple of them to capture the scenery. They are so lucky to have such picturesque places to take the dogs for a walk (not that Lily and Lola's little legs would make it that far!)

I thought I would share a few photos with you while I put my feet up watching Don't Tell The Bride. It's surprising what a few days off work can do for your levels of relaxation!

I am home sweet home now but have got a few more photos to share with you from my trip. I had such a great time - lots of fresh air, nice food and time spent with my sister who I don't get to see very often. Hopefully I will be able to visit again soon!

5 good things (and a few more Florida holiday pics thrown in for good measure!)

Having had a difficult couple of weeks, but feeling refreshed after my trip to the Isle of Man, I thought it might be therapeutic to put together a "5 good things" post to remind myself that things ain't so bad after all!

1) Making more time for the cinema. We recently watched the new X-Men film followed by Maleficent and we loved them both. Maleficent was a fantastic film, right up my street. Angelina Jolie was perfection. As Jonathan gets half price cinema tickets through his new job there are no excuses now!

2) Starting a new exercise regime. Apart from my personal training sessions before Florida I have been a bit lazy with working out but I was keen to get into something fresh and new and structured. I recently bought the Bikini Body Guide from Kayla Itsines who I found through Instagram and started it on Monday. It's tough but manageable and I ache from head to toe so it must be doing something right! Follow my Instagram account (@lilyloveslola) for updates.

3) This post by Sam at Sunshine Sam. What a sweetie saying such nice things about my blog! Other things I'm loving in the world of social media right now are this makeup tutorial, awesome Disney vlogs by Joe & Ashley, recipes on Nics Nutrition, and my email pal Steph's blog LittleMsTitch. Go check 'em all out!

4) Planning 2015 holidays. It has to be done! Potentially visiting Prague, France and... Florida! Just need to tell Jonathan about that last one ;)

5) Trashy telly. I came back from America with an addiction to Say Yes to the Dress, Honey Boo Boo and a whole host of other nonsense. Not to mention my sister has me hooked on Ex on the Beach. Awful! (but I secretly love it).

What are your 5 good things?

I'm mad on wearing trainers at the moment. I love to feel comfortable, and on a weekend can often be found in jeans and a t shirt, so trainers have become my "go to" footwear of choice.

When I spotted these pink and cream suede numbers from Nike (the Bruin Lite style to be precise) I was all over them in a flash! I do love my Converse but fancied a change and these fit the bill nicely.

The best thing is they're now in the sale so they're a huge bargain and there's loads of sizes left. If you like these you may also like to know that Nike are on top form and have plenty of others to choose from. You also like this pair, this pair and this pair (I know I do!)

I receive loads of comments about my Nike trainers (this pair!), and quite right because they're very pretty, but sadly the sizes are running low on Sarenza which is where I ordered mine from (with one of my ambassador codes).

So, I thought I would share some other styles that I've had my beady eye on. Nike trainers seem to fit me really well and always come in the nicest colours/patterns so they're always the brand I check first for trainers.

I really want my next pair to be black as I have recently discovered a fondness for jazzy sports leggings and sometimes feel a bit OTT in my pink pair. I love the black pair below with a hint of white and lilac. They come in pink too if you prefer brighter colours.

Send me your links to pretty trainers! I think I have a new obsession :)

June favourites.

Welcome to my very first favourites blog post! I really like watching monthly favourite videos on You Tube when people talk about a mixture of things (not just beauty products) so I thought I would add mine in to the mix too. So here we go. A mixed big of all the things that have been floating my boat for the month of June.

Bath & Body Works candles and body sprays

I couldn't wait to raid this store in Florida and lucky for us we had one just a few minutes walk from our hotel, which is why my sister and I were in there most days!

The special offers were too good to miss. I got two large 3-wick candles for around $22 and the body sprays were buy 3 get 3 free (I realise 6 body sprays all to myself is excessive...)

The candles smell so good and burn down evenly (none of that uneven melting which plays havoc with my OCD) as well as leaving their scent behind which fills a room and lasts for days. I am definitely going to purchase one or two more from Ebay, even though they're pretty pricey, because they wipe the floor with Yankee Candles in my humble opinion!

The body sprays all smell amazing too and the huge bottles mean I probably won't need to buy a body spray ever again!

Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation

This is less of a monthly favourite and more of an all-time favourite but it has to make an appearance regardless. It's the only foundation that lasts all day on my oily skin and although it's creeping up towards £30 the bottles do last for ages. It covers up my acne scars and blemishes without feeling cakey, so for that it's worth every penny!

Peanut Butter M&Ms

Having developed a severe M&M obsession during our recent trip to Florida it was unfortunate that I discovered that the poundshop near my work sell all manner of American sweets; peanut butter M&Ms being one of them. I made my way through a whole box at the weekend and it was heaven!

Smoothies

I obviously need something healthy to counteract the above. Enter my new smoothie maker by Breville (this one!) It was only £20 when I bought it but it's currently about £26 which is still pretty good. I selected the free Super Saver Delivery option was ace - dispatched the same day, arrived the following day! The blender works really well, even with ice cubes. The best bit is that the container that does the mixing doubles up as a sports bottle so there's minimal mess/washing up. I can tell I'm going to be making a lot of smoothies from now on...

Kiehl's Powerful Wrinkle Reducing Eye Cream

I treated myself to a few Kiehl's goodies last month as my skin was feeling clogged after my holiday and I had run out of cleanser. I like to switch my products up now and again (apart from my Clearasil pads which I swear by!) and I haven't used Kiehl's before so off I toddled to the counter at House of Fraser.

I wanted an eye cream that would brighten my dark circles and prevent fine lines (I'm 30 next year, fine lines are now an issue!) so the counter assistant recommended this one.

At £32 it's not cheap but I have been shocked at how well this works. I noticed an improvement straight away. It's definitely good at brightening the under eye area. It's not greasy or thick so it sinks in really quickly. The pot is a decent size, and a little bit of product goes a long way, so I envisage this lasting me for quite a while.

Time will tell whether it makes me look 20 again though! Miracles do happen.

What have you been loving throughout June?

Ulley reservoir.

After a few cocktails on Friday night I woke on Saturday feeling tired and hungry, so Saturday's plan was to take a drive somewhere, go for a walk and get lunch in a country pub.

We didn't want to go too far so we settled on Ulley reservoir which is a short drive from where we live. It turns out Ulley is a beautiful village with humongous houses and sweet little cottages. It was so quiet and peaceful, we could have moved right in!

We parked up at a pub and strolled down to the reservoir where we saw ducks, birds and dozens of blue damselflies. Signs told us we could have seen some water voles but in the words of Jonathan "I don't see any water voles but I can see a Capri Sun". Why are people such litter bugs?!

Our lunch at the pub was a bit disappointing but we really enjoyed our walk. I love that we have such scenic places to go walking on our doorstep. All that walking and fresh air did me the world of good!

Bike riding, bright white Converse and bums.

Hot weather fills me with fear. I absolutely despise getting my legs out because I despise my legs! Normally when it's warm I still throw on jeans or leggings to cover them up and then I feel more comfortable (albeit sweating like a pig) but as there was an element of physical activity involved in our plans yesterday I had to raid my summer clothes drawer and dust off a pair of shorts.

We headed out in the blazing sunshine to run a few errands before meeting up with friends and heading to Clumber Park for a bike ride. The last time I went on a bike ride I was probably about 12 years old, cycling in the local woods with my friend, so you could say I was rather nervous.

I couldn't keep in a straight line for the first half an hour, it was rather amusing (for everyone else more than me), but then I got into the swing of things and it was actually quite peaceful cycling round such pretty surroundings, picking up a bit of speed and feeling the warm air on my skin. I don't think I'll be buying a bike any time soon but I'd definitely go back to Clumber Park and hire a bike for a couple of hours.

I have wanted a pair of white Converse for ages so I finally ordered a pair of Chuck Taylor's recently (c/o Sarenza) and gave them their first outing yesterday. I want them to stay bright white forever but we all know that's not likely to happen.

My ace watermelon shorts are for Primark and were a firm favourite in Florida. They're such a great fit. I like that they're high waisted but still cover up my bits and bobs (nobody sane wants their bum cheeks hanging out do they?!) My tee is from Mango and my sunnies are prescription Ray Bans from Vision Express. Pug bum is models own ;)

I hope you've had some sunshine this weekend wherever you are!

A Pug post (featuring Bottomless Bowl).

It has been a while since Lily and Lola had their own post on my space of the internet so I thought I would rectify that. While I'm here I want to share a website called petshopbowl.co.uk who recently sent them some goodies to try, all in the name of highlighting their Bottomless Bowl service.

Lily and Lola eat a lot. They're really greedy. With food, snacks and dental sticks it's an expensive business having dogs (as I'm sure all pet owners will agree!) so it's good to save the pennies where you can.

Bottomless Bowl is a subscription service on Pet Shop Bowl which saves you money, removes the need to lug heavy sacks of pet food round when doing your grocery shopping and (as the name suggests) makes sure you never run out of food! That last one happens to us all the time which results in a mad dash to Morrisons to stock up. It's also one less thing to worry about when you're a busy couple who work full time and do a million and one things in between.

All you do is find the pet food you need, add it to your cart then select your delivery preference - every 2 weeks, every 3 weeks, and so on. Such a brilliant idea!

Inside Lily and Lola's box they found Dentastix, Lily's Kitchen dry food and, the one we were most intrigued by, Symply food trays. The Symply food trays are packed full of turkey, rice and veg, are hypoallergenic and Lily and Lola absolutely loved them. I will be ordering some in the future and will be selecting a Bottomless Bowl option on my order for sure!

I hope this is helpful to some of my fellow pet owners. You can find also Pet Shop Bowl on Facebook here.

Kallo review and hamper giveaway! (NOW CLOSED)

I have been a fan of Kallo chocolate covered rice cake thins since I saw them gracing the aisles of Holland & Barrett a few months ago. At around 55 calories they seemed like the perfect snack to have stashed in my desk at work for when those chocolate cravings appear (that would be most days then..)

Kallo recently got in touch with me to offer my blog readers the chance to win a hamper full of treats and kindly offered me the chance to try out a few new things too. I don't often see Kallo in the shops, apart from Holland & Barrett, so it has been great to find some new snack ideas.

My favourites are still the rice cake thins which come in milk chocolate (which I had already tried), dark chocolate and also milk chocolate with caramel pieces on which are as good as they sound!

My favourites, apart from the chocolate covered rice cakes, are the smoked paprika flavour which are so tasty and come in at only 34 calories each. I eat them on their own or with some nut butter on. I also really like the salt and vinegar flavour.

My Kallo giveaway is open to anyone from the UK who follows my blog. All you have to do is complete the Rafflecopter device below. It's as easy as that! One lucky winner will receive the following goodies:

Lightly salted rice cakes
Organic unsalted rice cakes

Cauliflower pizza! (using this recipe) I had a stab at making one recently and I loved it! I love regular pizza but it doesn't love me, so this is the perfect alternative. It tasted so good and you can add any toppings you like. Will definitely make this again!

Adventures in Sheffield. We have been out and about on the weekends, exploring different areas, looking for cottages and character properties to move to.

Enjoying the sunshine. We have been out in the garden at every opportunity, as have Lily and Lola. It gets too hot for them at times but they love nothing more than to sunbathe!

Patterned trousers. I've been brave, buying three pairs of pattern trousers in the past couple of months. These are my favourite black and white numbers from River Island. I wore them out to tea with Jonathan a couple of weekends ago.
New-but-old workouts. I had a date with my good friend Jillian last night, whose workouts I have neglected for quite some time. I forgot how good (and hard, sweaty, brutal, etc) they are! This one is my favourite. I'd like to build up to doing it all the way through, no pausing, like I used to do.

Putting the world to rights over wine and cocktails, on several occasions!

Sunshine and Sangria.

Saturday was one of those days where you sit back and think "aaaah, isn't this lovely?" I don't get to see my sister and her husband very often as they live on the Isle of Man but they were back for a flying visit at the weekend to pick up a new car so they came to see us on Saturday for lunch. My mum and dad drove over from Leeds so the six of us spent the afternoon eating, drinking and catching up in our back garden in the glorious sunshine.

Jonathan made burgers with a mozzarella middle and cooked them on the BBQ. I was on crisps and dips duty, made a big salad and some halloumi kebabs, and made sure everyone was full of Sangria, beer or soft drinks (for the drivers).

Lily and Lola sat patiently under the table waiting for scraps of food to be dropped. Ever the optimists.

My mum is known for making delicious puddings and came armed with a berry pavlova (which was out of this world!) and an amaretto dark chocolate torte which was so rich and creamy. I had a slice of each. Would be rude not to, right?

After food, cake, a brew and a few games it was just me and Jonathan and a mound of washing up. How we managed to use every plate, utensil and piece of cutlery in our kitchen I will never know.

I hope you all had a good one and the sun shone for you?

#cheatmeal (Twisted Burger Company).

$

Recently I have tried to have less of a cheat-weekend-where-I-don't-stop-stuffing-my-face to just having one or two cheat meals a week. So far so good (sort of). I find it easy to be healthy through the week when I'm at work but weekends are when we tend to eat out, have friends over, see family, and it all goes to pot.

After our cycling expedition a few weeks ago we thought about driving to my home city, Leeds, for some dinner but our legs were too weary so we settled on somewhere in Sheffield. Then we remembered Twisted Burger Company at The Harley. We have been twice before so we knew it was a safe bet.

First and foremost, a shout-out to our waitress who was ever so lovely and friendly. But the food was on top form as usual. We tried something new and went for the Jalepeno Business Fries which involve all the toppings you would find on nachos but with french fries instead of tortilla chips. They were out of this world. We shared a big basket of them and I could have ordered another one!

I went for the burger that I always go for.. the 'Return of the Mac'. A pork patty in a brioche bun with a generous helping of mac and cheese (I can feel my arteries furring up just thinking about it but it tastes so damn good!) I really don't know how people can like Ed's Diner when there are places like this around. If you are local and haven't been, what are you waiting for? :)

We were seriously stuffed by this point but there's always room for something sweet, so we stopped off at Sainsbury's for a couple of Gu puds which we devoured at home, on the sofa, with a big cup of tea. Bliss!

What's your favourite 'cheat' meal?

Road trip (Whitby and the North Yorkshire Moors) - part 1!

Sometimes we work too hard and forget to make the most of our weekends, so last weekend that is just what we did! Originally we wanted to find somewhere doggy friendly and take Lily and Lola along with us but as Lily has just had an operation on her leg and they've both had a scale, polish and several teeth removed we thought they would have a much better time with my mum and dad, away from the hot weather and walking!

After trawling the internet for somewhere to go and not having much luck I finally found somewhere after looking on Air BnB. We booked a tiny little cottage which was built in the 1790s in the village of Castleton which meant we could spend a day in Whitby and a day on the North Yorkshire Moors.

Whitby was great! I thought I had visited before as a child but neither of us recognised anything so I guess it was our first visit. We walked up and down the pier, took the 199 steps up to the Abbey where we saw snippets of a Dracula play over the wall (we had just missed it, damn!) and walked up to the whale bones to take in the view.

Of course we had to have fish and chips for lunch so we stopped at the Magpie Cafe which was packed even though it had only been open 10 minutes. Luckily they had one table left so we were in! I went for a pot of decaf tea, small cod and chips with a side of bread and butter. Jonathan went for an ale, a large haddock and chips. The fish was such good quality, so white and flaky, and my small size was just right for me.

After fish and chips we had room for something sweet (of course) and found the Teare Wood's ice cream parlour which I was keeping a beady out for after seeing the reviews on Trip Advisor. This is where I made a mistake of epic proportions. They had so many yummy flavours that I panicked and went for mint choc chip which I could have any time. Jonathan got raspberry pavlova and kindly gave me a taste and it was bloody beautiful! I definitely should have tried lemon meringue or pannacotta. Damn it! Anyway the ice cream was beautiful and the man who served us was so friendly. Check it out if you visit.

After a stint on the 2p machines desperately trying to win some Lego for Jonathan (it was never going to happen) we walked round the shops, popping in to look at quirky house stuff and organic smellies, before popping into a fudge shop and devouring a bag of chocolate orange fudge.

After a trip to the art gallery we headed back to the car and drove to our cottage for the evening.

Part 2 coming soon!

Read part 1 here!

We got to our cottage at around 4pm, by which point we were ready for a sit down and, let's be honest, a nap. The cottage was super tiny, but so cosy, consisting of a small living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. The owner had kindly left us some milk, fresh bread, free range eggs and beer. Jonathan tackled the beer and we saved the rest for brekkie.

After a nap of epic proportions (I blame all that sea air) we strolled ten steps to the pub over the road for a few drinks and some tea. We were tucked up in bed by 9:30 playing cards and eating chocolate. Bliss!

Our plans for the next day were to make the most of the sunshine and go walking in the moors so after a bacon and egg sarnie and a mug of tea that's just what we did. The owner of the cottage kindly let us park at his house and we used that as the starting point for our walk which took us a couple of hours to complete.

The sun was shining, the sheep were out and the views were spectacular. Our first route took us along a path that hadn't been cleared so at one point we were literally up to our necks in greenery so we doubled back and started another more sensible route.

It was so quiet and peaceful as we made our way up and down the hills and along the country paths. I'd love to move somewhere like this one day....

Not sure this is the right way?! ;)

Part 1 - here! Part 2 - here!

The end of our trip saw us make our way back to civilisation after our walk through beautiful scenery to land on the doorstep of a pub. How convenient! We rested our weary feet over a couple of games of Scrabble and some food, before heading back to the car and driving to my parents house to pick up Lily and Lola.

It was such a great way to spend our weekend, seeing two new places, staying over in a cute cottage and getting away from it all for a little while. We are lucky to have such scenic places only a short drive away. The only problem is that now we want to go away every weekend!

Hello you lovely lot. It has been a while since I sat down and wrote anything so here goes. I thought I would bring you up to speed on what we have been up to recently.

- Yesterday we spent the morning viewing houses in Sheffield and had a wander round one place that was like something straight out of a house magazine. It was a beauty! We have stepped up our search for somewhere new (we have been in our current home for almost 3 years and our neighbours still drive us as crazy as the day we moved in) so hopefully in the not too distant future you will be seeing some new house posts from us! After all of the nosying round other people's houses we stopped for a well earned lunch and milkshake at Graze Inn.

- Last weekend I had the Friday and Monday off work and spent the 4 day break at my parents house near Leeds (Lily and Lola came too!). My sister was back from the Isle of Man so we headed to Leeds to do a bit of shopping with my mum, with a follow up trip to White Rose Centre the day after. We also swung by Chapel Allerton to visit the amazing bra shop there where I spent £168 on 2 bras. I still can't bring myself to wear them, they're too beautiful! (#buyersremorse)

Lunch was a bloody good burger at Byron Burger complete with chips and an Oreo cookie milkshake. Ideal meal right there!

- In less than 3 weeks we will be jetting off to Sorrento for a week to attend our friends wedding and pack in plenty of sightseeing. If anybody has any recommendations of places to go or restaurants to eat at please do let me know in the comments box below.

- A couple of weekends ago we went back to Potteric Carr armed with my extra zoomy camera lens (technical term) and some extra comfy trainers for a nice long walk. This was our second visit to Potteric Carr and we really like it there.

Sadly we haven't managed to spot the deer, water voles or snakes (!) yet but we saw hundreds of dragonflies/damselflies, beautiful butterflies (one of which landed on me! Just call me Cinderella or whatever), bees and lots of birds. Plus it is so peaceful there and a great place for a Sunday stroll (and as we're members we can go for free now, bonus!)

Tell me what you have been up to lately folks!

Orla Kiely glasses

I had my eye on these Orla Kiely frames for a while after trying on every pair of glasses in every.single.opticians and last month I took the plunge, mainly due to a 25% off voucher for Boots Opticians and fancying a change from my Ray Bans. Yes they're rather a bold statement with their chunky oversized tortoiseshell frames and gold logo but I love them. The case is also rather pretty which is a nice bonus.

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo+

I used a tube of this many moons ago off and on in a rather lackluster fashion, but a couple of months ago I purchased another tube on a whim. Since then I have used it day and night religiously and it has improved my skin in a huge way. My breakouts are minimal and my skin looks smoother with a reduction in my acne scarring visibility. Having struggled with my skin for years now, I knew this serum was a winner when I started receiving compliments on how well my skin looked. I thought I would never hear compliments like that again!

Barbecue Popchips

If you haven't tried Popchips where have you been? They are the bees knees. Guilt free = check! Amazing flavours = check! Jonathan and I are obsessed with the barbecue flavour and always stock up on the big bags when we spot them in the shops.

SeeYaReelSoon on YouTube

My favourite YouTube channel by far are the Disney loving Joe and Ashley aka SeeYaReelSoon. They release a video every Wednesday, usually a vlog from a Disney trip or something else Disney related like a recipe or FAQ video. They are the absolute sweetest and I look forward to Wednesdays to catch their latest video. I wish I could visit Disney as often as they do, but alas I have to live vicariously through them!

Carmex cherry lipbalm

You may struggle to get excited over a lip balm but this is a really good one, promise! I recently finished off a tube that was in my desk drawer at work and a pot in my makeup bag so I bought a brand spanking new pot yesterday. It's so moisturising, tastes like cherries and has SPF15. Plus it's only a couple of quid!

Bath & Body Works candles

Yes I am featuring B&BW candles again! What can I say, they're amazing. These dinky mini jar candles were sent to me by my new friend in America, Amy, and they smell divine. They're two of the new Autumn scents currently making our kitchen smell divine (well, apart from the Pug smell ;))

French Connection: little white dress.

When perusing the virtual aisles of French Connection recently I decided to pop a little white dress in my basket, as opposed to playing it safe with black. I don't wear much white (mainly due to my pasty limbs!) but I thought it would be perfect for our recent holiday to Sorrento where the sun was shining.

The dress, the Annie Bow Tunic, has such lovely detail with its embroidered flowers and sequins. The shift shape means it was quite forgiving after a week of eating pizza and pasta twice daily, and it's a conservative length which is great when you hate your legs like I do! I like that it's a casual dress but is still a little bit fancy, which makes it a great piece for a sunny holiday teamed with sandals and a clutch.

French Connection always have such lovely dresses and it's a website I check out regularly, particularly during the sales. They have some wonderful work dresses, party dresses and the most stunning maxi dresses!

I have got my eye on a couple of things. Who am I kidding, I have got my eye on half the shop!
