When perusing the virtual aisles of French Connection recently I decided to pop a little white dress in my basket, as opposed to playing it safe with black. I don't wear much white (mainly due to my pasty limbs!) but I thought it would be perfect for our recent holiday to Sorrento where the sun was shining.
The dress, the Annie Bow Tunic, has such lovely detail with its embroidered flowers and sequins. The shift shape means it was quite forgiving after a week of eating pizza and pasta twice daily, and it's a conservative length which is great when you hate your legs like I do! I like that it's a casual dress but is still a little bit fancy, which makes it a great piece for a sunny holiday teamed with sandals and a clutch.
French Connection always have such lovely dresses and it's a website I check out regularly, particularly during the sales. They have some wonderful work dresses, party dresses and the most stunning maxi dresses!
I have got my eye on a couple of things. Who am I kidding, I have got my eye on half the shop!
Happy shopping! ;)
