I'm blogging all the way from the Isle of Man tonight, as I've been here since Thursday morning and don't head home until tomorrow night. I've been visiting my sister (who lives over here) to keep her company while her husband is away on a golfing trip.
Aside from drinking a million cups of tea and watching episodes of Say Yes to the Dress, we have also been quite productive and have filled our time with fabric shopping, getting crafty with said fabric and a sewing machine, going on long hikes with her dogs, going to the gym, and a shopping trip. We even managed to fit in afternoon tea on Friday, a cheeky Dominos takeaway last night and shed loads of films!
She has been looking after me well, making us homemade soup, pancakes, courgette spaghetti bolognaise, and even whipped up some cinnamon whirl banana bread. Yum!
The views on our walks have been stunning so I took my camera along on a couple of them to capture the scenery. They are so lucky to have such picturesque places to take the dogs for a walk (not that Lily and Lola's little legs would make it that far!)
I thought I would share a few photos with you while I put my feet up watching Don't Tell The Bride. It's surprising what a few days off work can do for your levels of relaxation!
