Life lately (burgers, milkshakes, Potteric Carr, a holiday countdown and a touch of buyer's remorse).

Hello you lovely lot. It has been a while since I sat down and wrote anything so here goes. I thought I would bring you up to speed on what we have been up to recently.

- Yesterday we spent the morning viewing houses in Sheffield and had a wander round one place that was like something straight out of a house magazine. It was a beauty! We have stepped up our search for somewhere new (we have been in our current home for almost 3 years and our neighbours still drive us as crazy as the day we moved in) so hopefully in the not too distant future you will be seeing some new house posts from us! After all of the nosying round other people's houses we stopped for a well earned lunch and milkshake at Graze Inn.

- Last weekend I had the Friday and Monday off work and spent the 4 day break at my parents house near Leeds (Lily and Lola came too!). My sister was back from the Isle of Man so we headed to Leeds to do a bit of shopping with my mum, with a follow up trip to White Rose Centre the day after. We also swung by Chapel Allerton to visit the amazing bra shop there where I spent £168 on 2 bras. I still can't bring myself to wear them, they're too beautiful! (#buyersremorse)

Lunch was a bloody good burger at Byron Burger complete with chips and an Oreo cookie milkshake. Ideal meal right there!

- In less than 3 weeks we will be jetting off to Sorrento for a week to attend our friends wedding and pack in plenty of sightseeing. If anybody has any recommendations of places to go or restaurants to eat at please do let me know in the comments box below.

- A couple of weekends ago we went back to Potteric Carr armed with my extra zoomy camera lens (technical term) and some extra comfy trainers for a nice long walk. This was our second visit to Potteric Carr and we really like it there.

Sadly we haven't managed to spot the deer, water voles or snakes (!) yet but we saw hundreds of dragonflies/damselflies, beautiful butterflies (one of which landed on me! Just call me Cinderella or whatever), bees and lots of birds. Plus it is so peaceful there and a great place for a Sunday stroll (and as we're members we can go for free now, bonus!)

Tell me what you have been up to lately folks!
